Foreign Ministry confirms its rejection of what was stated in 12-nation coalition statement regarding what is happening in Red Sea

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Yemen expressed its condemnation and complete rejection of what was stated in the statement of the 12-nation coalition led by America regarding what is happening in the Red Sea.

In a statement issued by it, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered what was stated in the statement of the 12-nation coalition to be inconsistent with the truth and an attempt to promote a reality and events that have no connection to the truth, and essentially comes within the framework of the double standards policy known by the American administration, in addition to the American policy trend, supported by a number of Western countries, to legitimize and provide unlimited support to the Zionist enemy, which has occupied the Palestinian territories since 1948 AD.

The statement referred to the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, including the four
Geneva Conventions, many United Nations General Assembly resolutions, Security Council resolutions, and the International Court of Justice’s decision, at a time when Washington and its allies did not move to fulfill their humanitarian and moral duty, but rather they were the ones who provided the Zionist enemy with the latest types of weapons to commit the most heinous crimes against Palestinian civilians in all the occupied Palestinian territories.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs deplored ignoring the statement of the White House and those with it from the countries that adopted this statement, due to the crimes against humanity and genocide committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip against Palestinian civilians, especially women, children and the elderly, the prevention of the entry of humanitarian aid, food, medicine and fuel, and the systematic killing of media professionals and journalists.

It stressed that the lamentation and concern that came in the statement of the 12-nation coalition led by
America and its allies regarding the safety of maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, as they are among the most important waterways for global trade and promoting the world, accusing Sana’a of carrying out actions in violation of international law, are incorrect statements as part of a failed media campaign.

The statement said, ‘The Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, since assuming power in the Republic of Yemen, have declared Sana’a’s keenness and commitment to all international agreements and treaties, including the agreements regulating maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and despite Yemen being subjected to military aggression and a comprehensive blockade since March 26, 2015, Sana’a has continued its international and regional commitment not to expose international navigation and international trade to any risks, even though it is living in a state of open War”.

The Ministry o
f Foreign Affairs confirmed that the navigation situation in the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, and the Bab al-Mandab Strait is completely safe, with the exception of navigation to the ports of occupied Palestine. This is a humanitarian measure par excellence that came after the brutal practices committed by the Zionist entity against civilians in Gaza and the systematic killing and horrific and widespread destruction it is carrying out in addition to a severe siege that reached the point of denying water and food to the population.

In this context, it stated that the Yemeni naval forces are carrying out their duty to defend the Palestinian people and work to break the siege imposed on Gaza according to clear and announced steps and after issuing repeated warnings to all maritime shipping companies to stop heading towards the occupied Palestinian ports until the siege on Gaza is lifted.

The statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the statement of the 12 countries reflected a clear insisten
ce on the partnership of these countries in all the tragedy that the Palestinian people are exposed to and reflects an insistence on encouraging the criminal Zionist entity to continue its brutal crimes against the Palestinians, which is a position that undoubtedly brings shame to those countries and their peoples.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also confirmed that Yemen’s position is firm and that Sana’a will continue its humanitarian and moral duty to prevent all ships heading to the ports of occupied Palestine until the brutal siege on the residents of Gaza is lifted, whatever the cost, and will not listen to the threats of these countries whose mission is to protect the ships of the criminal Zionist entity. .

It held the American administration and its allies fully responsible for all consequences and repercussions resulting from these threats, which will endanger international peace and security and also expose the interests of the countries themselves to the wrath of the nation’s angry peoples at the
regional and global levels.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded its statement by emphasizing that the position of the Yemeni leadership and people will not change or be dissuaded by any pressure or threats to stop its naval blockade of the Zionist enemy until the aggression stops and food aid and fuel enter the Gaza Strip without obstacles.
