Abu Dhabi: At least four people were killed and more than 500 others injured after a huge explosion rocked Shahid Rajaee Port near Bandar Abbas, in southern Iran.
According to Emirates News Agency, the blast occurred on Saturday, causing destruction in the surrounding areas and affecting some industries in western Bandar Abbas. Initial reports suggested that a gas tanker exploded.
A spokesman for the emergency services said that at least 561 people had so far been injured.
