Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, has issued Emiri Decree No. 2 of 2026 to establish the Fujairah Ports Authority. This decree amends Emiri Decree No. 1 of 1984.
According to Emirates News Agency, the newly established Fujairah Ports Authority will function as a public authority endowed with legal personality. It will have financial and administrative independence, along with the necessary legal capacity to carry out its duties and fulfill its objectives.
The decree is effective immediately from the date of its issuance. It will be published in the Official Gazette to ensure widespread awareness and compliance.
