The Ministry of Culture was presented with the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics Medal for 2024 in recognition of its innovative work in this area on the sidelines of the 3rd Global AI Summit 2024 (GAIN Summit), held in Riyadh by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). Because of its dedication to applying ethical standards to the use of AI technology, the Ministry of Culture was one of the first institutions to embrace the AI ethics project in September 2022, thus winning this award. The AI ethics initiative is a part of the ongoing government efforts to back the kingdom's AI national strategy.
