GCC Secretary-General: Continued Israeli Attacks on Jenin Camp Represent a Flagrant Violation of International Conventions and Laws

Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi has expressed strong condemnation of the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, the latest of which was the attack on the Jenin camp.

Al-Budaiwi l said that the Israeli occupation forces' attack on the Jenin camp represents a flagrant violation of international conventions and laws, and hampers the efforts to launch a peace process to resolve the Palestinian issue.

He stressed the need for immediate international intervention to end the brutal Israeli attacks and repression, which claimed the lives of several Palestinians and caused many injuries.

Moreover, the secretary general reiterated his call to the international community to intervene urgently and swiftly to revive efforts to enable the Palestinian people gain their legitimate right to establish their state within the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
