GDRFA Dubai Celebrates UAE-Kuwait Brotherhood Under ‘Brothers Forever’ Slogan

Dubai: The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) is organizing a series of national events to celebrate the longstanding fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. These events are being held under the slogan 'UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever,' highlighting the historical and humanitarian ties that bind the two nations and their people.

According to Emirates News Agency, as part of these celebrations, GDRFA Dubai is introducing symbolic initiatives at Dubai's airports to enhance human interaction and embody the spirit of the occasion. Passengers arriving are welcomed with a special stamp featuring the slogan 'UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever,' while arrival halls are adorned in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag. A dedicated arrival lane, brandished with campaign signage and the flags of both countries, is also part of the welcome. Additionally, symbolic gifts are distributed, and characters 'Salem and Salama' greet visitors, turning their arrival into a meaningful experience that reflects brotherhood and belonging.

In a related initiative, GDRFA Dubai is organizing Souq Al-Mubarakiya at Alkhawaneej Walk from January 29 to February 1. This event involves various Kuwaiti retail outlets and recreates the atmosphere of Kuwait's traditional heritage market. The souq offers visitors an interactive experience that blends culture, commerce, and heritage, highlighting the cultural and humanitarian ties between the two peoples. These initiatives aim to strengthen people-to-people connections and support cultural and economic exchange in a community-friendly setting.

The participation in these events aligns with directives from the wise leadership, emphasizing that UAE-Kuwaiti relations are a legacy of brotherhood and loyalty. These initiatives demonstrate a strong Gulf unity, built on mutual support and integration. Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, stated that the events reflect the depth of the relationship between the two countries, underscoring the deeply rooted bonds of brotherhood and cooperation over decades.
