General Directorate of Prisons Delegation Visits Japan

A General Directorate of Prisons delegation has visited Japan to get familiarized with the latest correctional practices applied to inmates in Japanese prisons, crowd management, inmate reform and rehabilitation, and security guard rules. The delegation was led by the Director General of Prisons Major General Majid bin Bandar Al-Duweish. The visit is part of the Ministry of Interior International Partnerships Program which aims to bring about the implementation of the best international practices and adopt innovative solutions that contribute to achieving correctional and rehabilitation goals, and improving the quality of services and care provided to inmates Source: Saudi Press Agency
