German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Visits SCOP

Riyadh, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom, Dieter Lamlé, paid a visit to Riyadh-based Saudi Center for Opinion Polls (SCOP) on Thursday.

During his tour, accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Hogail, the German ambassador was briefed on the SCOP’s methodology in building its surveys and projects, and the areas it addressed, such as cultural, social, health and entertainment.

He was also briefed on the various stages of telephone data collection, procedures for ensuring their quality and the quantitative and qualitative measurements of data, in addition to statistical analysis, and converting the results into easy-to-read reports.

The ambassador and his companions praised the precise practical standards that SCOP is committed to, which are compatible with international standards.

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Center for Opinion Polls was established in 2016 in Riyadh. It is an independent, non-profit body licensed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Ministry of Commerce.
