Global Food Week 2026 Highlights International Culinary Experiences

Abu Dhabi:Global Food Week 2026, organized by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, is set to take place from October 6 to 8 at the ADNEC Centre.

According to Emirates News Agency, this year's event introduces a retail platform allowing visitors to purchase a wide range of food, beverages, and agricultural products directly from exhibitors, offering a chance to sample and acquire specialty goods.

The Abu Dhabi Date Palm Exhibition will feature various types of dates, a key part of Emirati heritage, including Medjool, Khalas, and Sukkary. Participants can purchase different date products such as gift boxes, chocolate-coated dates, and date syrups.

A diverse selection of honey products, including Sidr and Samar honey, will also be available. At the Honey Tasting Station, visitors can taste and learn about different honey varieties and their unique characteristics.

Small and medium-sized enterprises will present their products, providing visitors an opportunity to engage with founders and discover new brands. Categories include artisanal sauces, specialty coffee, and gourmet condiments.

The Farmers Market will offer fresh produce directly from UAE farmers, while the Beverage Sector will showcase new brands and trends. International pavilions will expand the product range, with India as this year's Guest of Honour.

Visitors can explore an international showcase featuring products from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, including Italian olive oils, Mexican avocados, and Sri Lankan spices. The World Gourmet Show will feature live culinary demonstrations by renowned chefs, offering an engaging culinary experience.

Global Food Week 2026 aims to provide a platform for discovering new products, sampling international flavors, and supporting local businesses, while celebrating the latest developments in the global food sector.
