Hajj Minister Announces Cancellation of Covid-19 Health Procedures for Pilgrims Arriving from Türkiye

Makkah, Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah announced the cancellation of the health procedures for the (Covid-19) vaccine for all pilgrims arriving from Türkiye, within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to facilitate the arrival of individuals to perform Umrah and pray in the Holy Rawdah.

Dr. Al-Rabiah made his statement at a joint press conference held jointly with President of Religious Affairs in Türkiye Dr. Ali ERBAS.

The minister said that the pilgrims from Türkiye are excluded from any requirements related to age limits, stressing that the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcome all pilgrims without a limit to the number of arrivals, opening the door for holders of all types of visas from around the world to perform Umrah, within the framework of the continuous support and care provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to serve Islam and Muslims, and facilitate their arrival to perform their rituals easily and smoothly, to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
