Hamdan Bin Mohammed Approves AED1 Million Grant for ‘Dubai Dates’ Exhibition Participants

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, visited the ‘Dubai Dates’ exhibition organised by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center. During his visit, he toured several pavilions and announced a grant of AED1 million to support the exhibition participants, acknowledging their efforts in preserving and promoting the UAE’s cultural heritage.

According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied by Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook, CEO of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center, along with departmental directors from the Center. The tour provided insights into the festival’s key features, focusing on sections dedicated to the cultural and social significance of date palms. As a result, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan allocated AED1 million to be distributed among the festival’s participants.

This generous gesture underscores H.H. Sheikh Hamdan’s ongoing support for the Center’s mission and his dedication to initiatives that advance Emirati heritage and community welfare. Abdullah Hamdan bin Dalmook expressed deep gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, stating that this support continues a legacy of leadership committed to strengthening national identity and cultural heritage.

Bin Dalmook remarked that H.H. Sheikh Hamdan’s visit and grant serve as significant motivation for all involved in the festival. He emphasized that the directives from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan guide the Center’s activities, helping to define priorities and open new pathways for innovation in heritage preservation.

He further highlighted the date palm’s integral role in Emirati culture and identity, noting that H.H.
