Abu dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, attended specialised demonstrations by the 22nd cohort of the UAE National Service Programme for the 2024-2025 training year at the Liwa Training Centre. The event witnessed participation from Sheikh Yas bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, alongside senior officers, officials from Al Dhafra Region, and local dignitaries.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan commended the readiness and discipline of the recruits, highlighting their military skills and knowledge. The demonstrations featured combat and tactical exercises, as well as infantry and team coordination displays that underscored the recruits’ professionalism and discipline.
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan also lauded the results of the intensive training programme, which encompassed military sciences, physical fitness, martial arts, and discipline, thereby enhancing the recruits’ capabilities in various fields.
