Supreme Judicial Council President, Judge Ahmed Yahya al-Mutawakel and newly appointed Minister of Justice and Human Rights Judge Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah honored on Tuesday former Minister of Justice Judge Nabil al-Azzani, in a formal handover ceremony. Judge al-Mutawakel praised Judge al-Azzani for his efforts to enhance judicial performance and administrative work amidst challenging conditions and limited resources. The incoming Minister, Judge Mujahid, acknowledged the trust placed in him by the leadership and outlined his commitment to advancing judicial work through gradual digital transformation, improved training for judicial staff, and rigorous performance monitoring. Judge Mujahid emphasized the importance of team cooperation and adherence to judicial discipline to meet citizens' needs effectively. He pledged to address any disruptions and blackmailing issues within the system. Judge al-Azzani congratulated his successor and commended the ministry's staff for their resilience during tough times, highlighting the near-completion of several key projects.
