Health Minister discusses with Al Mahwit Governor health situation in province


Public Health and Population Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, discussed with Al-Mahwit Governor, Hanin Qatina, the health situation in the province.

The meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Health Office in Al Mahwit province, Dr. Amin Hobeish, also discussed the efforts made by the province’s leadership in serving the health sector in the province in a way that ensures facilitating the provision of medical and therapeutic services to citizens.

The meeting reviewed the needs of the health sector in the province in terms of medical equipment, supplies, medicines, personnel, and the difficulties faced by the sector in the province.

In the meeting, Health Minister appreciated the efforts of the leadership of Al Mahwit province , the interest it gives to the health sector and its efforts to improve medical services in the province, stressing the Ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary support to overcome the challenges facing the health sector in the province.

inister Al-Mutawakkil stressed the importance of concerted efforts by everyone to enhance health and medical services provided to citizens, especially in light of the circumstances the country is going through.

For his part, the Governor of Al Mahwit reviewed the health situation in the province and its needs for medical equipment, supplies, medicines and medical personnel.

He praised the cooperation of the leadership of the Ministry of Health and its efforts to improve the health situation in the province and enhance health services provided to citizens.

During the meeting, Health Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, honored the Governor of Al-Mahwit, Hanin Qatina, with a shield and certificate from the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties for his efforts to support and encourage the Council’s branch in its tasks to train, qualify medical and health personnel in the province.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Health Office in Shibam District, Yahya Sharaf Al-Din.
