HH the Amir: Constitutional, Legislative Amendments Aim to Ensure Unity of People, Equal Citizenship

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani stressed that two goals incorporate the constitutional and legislative amendments: Ensuring the unity of the people on the one hand, and equal citizenship in terms of rights and duties on the other. In a post on his official X account, HH the Amir said: "Two goals incorporate the constitutional and legislative amendments: Ensuring the unity of the people on the one hand, and equal citizenship in terms of rights and duties on the other." HH the Amir also stressed: "Equality before the law and to be treated on an equal footing under the law is the foundation of a modern state, as well as a legal, moral, and constitutional obligation."
