His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at the Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan) in New Delhi with the President of the Republic of India, Droupadi Murmu.
At the outset of the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the President of India, while she sent her greetings to the King.
During the meeting, they reviewed historical and strategic relations between the two countries, and ways to develop them in all fields in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
Attending the meeting were Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and National Security Adviser Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi; Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh; and Secretary of HRH the Crown Prince Dr. Bandar bin Obaid Al-Rasheed.
The President of India held a dinner banquet in honour of HRH the Crown Prince.
Prior to the dinner banquet, the Saudi and Indian anthems were played, and HRH the Crown Prince shook hands with the ministers of the Indian government, while the President of India shook hands with the Saudi ministers and officials.
During the dinner banquet, HRH the Crown Prince and the President of India stressed the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and elevating it to broader horizons, noting the mutual visits and their prominent role in strengthening bilateral relations and areas of cooperation, and the great impact that the establishment of the Saudi-Indian Partnership Council will achieve in the Saudi-Indian relationship.
