Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation Sends 375 Tonnes of Food Aid to Gaza Strip


Ajman: Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation, in collaboration with the International Charity Organisation, has dispatched 375 tonnes of Ramadan food aid and sanitary supplies to the Gaza Strip. This effort aims to assist 15,000 affected families as part of the “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” aligning with the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian and relief efforts for the Palestinian people.



According to Emirates News Agency, this initiative was conducted under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, with close supervision by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman. The Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Foundation affirmed the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian support for the Gaza Strip, in line with the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, continuing the legacy of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.



H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi stated that this initiative reflects the UAE’s values of humanitarian solidarity and its leadership’s commitment to providing aid in times of crisis, especially during Ramadan. He emphasized H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi’s active contribution to Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, highlighting Ajman’s role in humanitarian work and collaboration with charitable organisations.



Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organisation, noted that the initiative aligns with the leadership’s directives and reinforces the UAE’s approach to supporting brethren, particularly during Ramadan. He emphasized that the participation of the International Charity Organisation in Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 reflects the values of solidarity and cohesion embedded in the Emirati humanitarian approach.



He also mentioned that the first phase of the air and sea aid convoy has been launched in coordination with relevant authorities and humanitarian partners, with the aid’s total value reaching AED 14 million. The aid includes food, health packages, medical care supplies, first-aid kits, and essentials for women and children, aiming to relieve the suffering of affected families during Ramadan.



The operation is one of the UAE’s significant humanitarian initiatives, providing urgent relief to affected regions and reaffirming the country’s commitment to a sustainable humanitarian approach based on values of generosity and solidarity.
