MIAMI: Authorities in Florida confirmed that Hurricane Milton, which struck the state's coast over the past two days, has claimed at least 11 lives. The Police Chief warned that the death toll could rise further. The Miami Herald reported that over three million people remain without power statewide. The hurricane's intense winds ripped building roofs, and heavy rains led to severe flooding, destroying numerous homes.
