Ibb province on Wednesday organized a series of speech events to honor the martyrdom of Imams Hussein and Zaid bin Ali, under the theme 'Insight and Jihad.' The events, hosted by the General Authority for Lands, Survey, and Urban Planning, and other local institutions, highlighted the imams' sacrifices and their fight against tyranny. Undersecretary Abdulfattah Ghallab and Undersecretary Abdulwahed al-Marwani emphasized the imams' role in challenging injustice and their commitment to Islamic principles. They called for emulating their example in the fight for justice and resisting global oppression. Sheikh Muqbil al-Kadhi, from the Association of Yemeni Scholars, recounted the struggles and sacrifices of Imams Hussein and Zaid, linking their historical battles to contemporary issues such as the Palestinian struggle. The Events included poetry recitations and speeches reinforcing the legacy of the imams and the need to support righteous causes. Local health officials also participated, linking the commem orations to the importance of steadfastness and support for oppressed communities, reflecting on the enduring relevance of the imams' revolutionary principles.
