ICESCO Commends Crucial Role Translators Play in Facilitating Exchange of Knowledge

The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) commended the crucial role translators play in facilitating the exchange of knowledge among people, enabling constructive dialogue, understanding and cooperation among nations, and contributing to global peace and shared development and prosperity. In a statement issued today to mark International Translation Day, observed annually on September 30, the organization said that through translation, through sharing intellectual creations in different languages, people are brought together. Translation, according to ICESCO, is the primary method of conveying its message to the global community. Its translation center's work to translate and publish documents, studies, research, and literature in various fields has enriched the world's scientific and cultural content.
