Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque Honors Winners of Zambia International Quran Memorization Competition

The Imam and Sermon Performer of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Mohsen bin Muhammad Al-Qasim, honored the winners of the 13th Zambia International Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition, held at the Islamic University in Lusaka, in the presence of the President of the Islamic University in the Republic of Zambia, Sheikh Youssef Ibrahim, along with many prominent Islamic figures. This year's competition saw participation from several countries, with a great turnout from memorizers of the Holy Quran who competed in various branches of the competition and excelled in the memorization and recitation of the Holy Quran. In his speech during the closing ceremony, Sheikh Dr. Al-Qasim praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leadership in serving the Holy Quran and expressed appreciation for the competition's organizers.
