In its speech before the United Nations Human Rights Council, Libya reiterated its call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.


Libya renewed its call for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, charging the international community with its responsibility before the Palestinian people of the need to take urgent measures and procedures to protect civilians and bring in humanitarian aid.

This came in a speech delivered by the person in charge of managing the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Al-Taher Al-Baour, via Zoom communication technology at the opening of the HRC55 session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which began its work yesterday, Monday.
