Tripoli: The Therapeutic Services Support and Development Authority signed an agreement today, Wednesday, with the German company (Ottobock), which specializes in the field of prosthetics, to organize an advanced workshop for the benefit of Abu Salim Hospital for Accidents and the National Center for Prosthetics, and to bring in technicians to operate, train and qualify national elements working in this field, in the presence of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dabaiba". "Dabaiba" stressed during his attendance at the signing ceremony the importance of localizing treatment internally, and providing specialized workshops in the manufacture, installation and maintenance of prosthetics in appreciation of this important segment, which requires different and periodic attention, and this requires transferring this knowledge internally. According to the media office of the Prime Minister, "Dabaiba" gave his instructions to the Therapeutic Services Support and Development Authori ty to organize similar workshops in the cities of Benghazi and Sabha as part of the second phase of this project. During the ceremony, the head of the Therapeutic Services Support and Development Authority presented a presentation showing the steps taken by the Authority to provide the service of manufacturing prosthetics locally, and contracting with the largest international companies in this field.
