Industry Minister, Italian Lombardy Regional Government President Discuss Cooperation

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef and Lombardy Regional Government President Attilio Fontana met here recently to explore the possibility of greater industrial cooperation. Discussions focused on pharmaceuticals, vaccines, and electric vehicles industries. The two officials emphasized the need to strengthen ties, particularly in the industrial and mining sectors, leveraging the strong Saudi-Italy relationship and the private sector involvement. Alkhorayef highlighted the diversification goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and presented the investment opportunities in key sectors and the competitive advantage foreign investors enjoy, such as advanced infrastructure and supportive government initiatives.
