The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) heavily bombed the city of Khan Younis today, south of the Gaza Strip, murdering at least 40 Palestinian civilians and injuring dozens of others. Wafa news agency reported that the IOF carried out a ground incursion and airstrikes on the southeastern areas of Khan Younis, specifically the neighborhoods of Maan, Qizan Al-Najjar and Al-Manara, adding that the medical crews were able to pull out the slaughtered bodies of at least 40 Palestinian martyrs (mostly women and children) from under the rubble, in addition to dozens of other civilians with varying injuries. Wafa pointed out that many of the wounded civilians remain under the rubble. The Israeli occupation murdered more than 41,638 Palestinian civilians and injured more than 96,460 others (mostly children and women), since the beginning of its ongoing genocide against the Gaza Strip in October 2023, and thousands of victims remain under the rubble.
