Gaza: Journalists Mustafa Thuraya and Hamza al-Dahdouh, son of Wael al-Dahdouh, correspondent for Al Jazeera Channel, were killed on Sunday in an Israeli raid on their car during their press coverage in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

In a preliminary tally, death toll in the Gaza Strip since start of the Israeli aggression on last October 7 rose to 22,600 martyrs, more than 70% of whom are women and children, and 7,000 people are missing under the rubble.

According to a statement issued by Gaza government media office, a total of over 100 Palestinian journalists were killed since beginning of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.

The office also called on the international community to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop its genocidal war against defenseless Palestinian people in the coastal enclave and avoid targeting civilians and journalists.
