Israeli army kills 4 Palestinians during West Bank raids


Ramallah: Israeli troops shot and killed four Palestinians during raids Monday across Palestinian towns and villages, raising to 378 the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the occupied West bank since the war on Gaza began on October 7, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

It said 18-year-old Obeidah Hamed was fatally shot in the chest by a bullet fired by soldiers who stormed into the village of Silwad, east of Ramallah.

Soldiers also killed 16-year-old Yasser Khalaf in the village of Taqo’a, south of Bethlehem, where a raid touched off clashes with local youth, the ministry said, adding that ambulance crews were not allowwed to reach the boy who was left to bleed on the ground.

In Doura near Hebron, an Israeli force fired live rounds and tear gas during clashes with young Palestinians who confronted it, hitting Mu’taz Tbeish in the head, who later died of his wounds, and three others were wounded, one in the chest and two in their lower limbs, It said.

Earlier in the day, 21-year-old
Naim Hammo was struck in the abdomen by a bullet fired by soldiers in Yamoun village, west of Jenin in the north of the West Bank.
