Ramallah: The Israeli occupation forces on Monday initiated a large-scale campaign involving raids, searches, and arrests in various areas across the occupied West Bank. The operations resulted in confrontations, with injuries from live ammunition and cases of suffocation due to tear gas.
Furthermore, the occupation forces apprehended 19 individuals after conducting raids on numerous homes.
According to a statement from the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society, the Israeli troops arrested 19 Palestinians from different regions in the West Bank, where they were transferred for investigation by the occupation security services, on allegations of involvement and participation in acts of armed resistance against settlers and the occupation forces.
The raids were primarily focused in the cities of Jenin, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Nablus, Ramallah, Hebron, and Jericho, alongside targeted operations in refugee camps.
During these raids, the occupation forces forcefully entered numerous homes, carried out searches, inflicted
destruction, and subjected residents to extensive interrogations following prolonged detainment periods.
