The Jazan Region Education Department achieved remarkable success at the Kingdom level in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO). The competition, held at the Ministry of Education in Riyadh under the theme "Earth Allies", featured 73 teams made up of 146 students from all over the Kingdom. Director General of Education in Jazan Malhi Aqdi congratulated the winning students. He said that the event strengthened students' skills and will help them navigate future challenges through technology, which aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. WRO, an annual event organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Sport's Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports, targets students aged 8 to 19. Its aim is to foster the integration of robotics and AI in fields such as delivery, transportation, logistics, and internet services. Source: Saudi Press Agency
