Jeddah Student Awarded Bronze Medal at Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions


Jeddah: Ghala Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi, a student from the 47th High School in Jeddah, achieved a distinguished achievement by winning a bronze medal at the 49th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, held from April 17-21.

Over 1,000 inventions from nearly 50 countries competed in the exhibition where Saudi Arabia’s students gave proof of their excellence and innovative spirit.

The medal is one other distinguished achievement added to those attained by the Kingdom’s students at international forums.

Jeddah Education Director Manal Al-Luhaibi expressed her pride in this achievement, which is proof of the Kingdom’s students’ excellence and cements its position as a leading center for innovation and scientific research.

Al-Luhaibi stressed that this achievement is due to the wise leadership that cares for education and innovation, and that the Ministry of Education is keen on supporting students’ creativity and innovation, and fostering an environment that cultivates the students’ potential.
