Jordan sends aid planes to embattled Gaza

Amman: The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organisation (JHCO) Wednesday sent two relief and humanitarian aid planes to support Palestinians in war-torn Gaza.

JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Shibli said, “The Organisation intended to prepare the necessary and main medical supplies and medicines given the poor health situation in the Gaza Strip and according to the lists of needs received.”

Jordan sent 45 planes and 248 trucks carrying aid to the people of the besieged enclave since the start of the Israeli war.

JHCO sent the aid planes with the support of the Armed Forces and in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates.
