Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, in a phone call with Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati, discussed the latest developments in Lebanon and the region. During the call, they discussed efforts aimed at reaching an immediate ceasefire in southern Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. Safadi stressed the need for the international community to act immediately to reach an immediate ceasefire and implement Resolution 1701, which stipulates Israel's withdrawal from all Lebanese territories and the cessation of its land, sea and air violations.
