Following Friday's prayer, a large-scale march in solidarity of the Gaza Strip against Israeli assault began at Amman's Al-Husseini Mosque. Participating in the march were representatives of numerous popular and political organizations, all of which vehemently denounced the war and genocide the Palestinian people are experiencing in the Gaza Strip. The marchers applauded the attempts to halt the assault and breach of international law, and they emphasized Jordan's strong stances, led by His Majesty the King, in favor of the Palestinian cause. Additionally, they emphasized Jordan's commitment to standing behind the Palestinian people until they are granted their rights and create an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The delegates also criticized the application of unfair international standards and urged action to be taken by the international community to halt Israeli aggression and protect Palestinian rights.
