Sharjah: Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi: KEZAD Group, a part of AD Ports Group, and BEEAH have announced the formation of a Joint Venture. The new entity, with KEZAD holding a 51 percent stake, aims to deliver integrated and eco-friendly waste management services to customers across KEZAD Group's economic cities and free zones.
According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership will offer a comprehensive range of services, including waste collection, street cleaning, waste treatment, and recycling. This initiative is designed to support customers with reliable and sustainable solutions that contribute to circularity. The Joint Venture will cater to businesses operating in KEZAD's industrial and logistics zones via an integrated waste management platform. A Circular Environmental Facility at KEZAD Al Ma'mourah is also in the works, which will process solid and liquid waste and recover materials for reuse across industrial value chains.
Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO Economic Cities and Free Zones at AD Ports Group, stated that the joint venture enhances their integrated services offering, directly addressing customer demand for efficient and sustainable waste management solutions. He emphasized that partnering with BEEAH adds value to KEZAD as a destination for responsible industrial growth and assists customers in fulfilling their environmental commitments.
Khaled Al Huraimel, Group CEO and Vice Chairman of BEEAH, expressed that the collaboration combines complementary strengths to deliver practical circular economy solutions at scale. He highlighted that the joint venture will provide businesses across KEZAD with proven waste management expertise that reduces landfill dependency and improves overall environmental impact.
The joint venture plans to roll out its services in phases, beginning with waste collection, tracking, sorting, and street cleaning. It will later introduce recycling, composting, and industrial waste recovery solutions. In the future, the Joint Venture aims to explore more advanced waste management services, supporting zero-waste to landfill initiatives and the broader circular economy.
The partnership aligns with Abu Dhabi's sustainability objectives and reinforces KEZAD's role as an enabler of responsible industrial development. It aims to create stable, utility-linked services that enhance customer retention and long-term value, leveraging BEEAH's legacy as a leading sustainable waste management provider in the region.
