Khalifa bin Tahnoon Attends Opening of Khaled bin Mohamed Jiu-Jitsu Championship

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court, has attended the inauguration of the 2nd Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship at Mubadala Arena. The championship will run in Abu Dhabi until 19th January 2025.

According to Emirates News Agency, during his visit, Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan observed the playing of the UAE National Anthem, marking the official start of the competition. He attended several matches, emphasizing the event's significance in developing young jiu-jitsu talent.

He commended the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation for their role in advancing the sport and creating opportunities for athletes of all ages to compete and improve their skills. The event was also attended by Sara Awadh Musallam, Chairperson of the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge.
