King Salman Royal Reserve Development Authority, IUCN Host Workshop on Ecosystem Conservation

- The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority held a regional workshop on the Red List of Ecosystems in partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The workshop focused on deepening understanding of ecosystems, identifying their risks, and developing scientific methodologies for their protection. It also aimed to enhance the capabilities of local and regional specialists in building joint strategies for ecosystem restoration. The authority highlighted its pioneering role in environmental development and sustainability, which is aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Environmental specialists from relevant authorities and regional and international experts attended the workshop to share experiences and foster international cooperation in developing and implementing environmental programs.
