Accra:The Republic of Korea added 113,000 jobs in September, continuing a trend of employment growth for the third consecutive month, as reported by recent government data.
According to Emirates News Agency, the total number of employed individuals in Korea reached 29.26 million in September, an increase from 29.15 million the previous year, based on data from the Ministry of Data and Statistics.
The country's unemployment rate decreased to 2 percent last month, a slight drop of 0.1 percent compared to a year earlier. However, the employment rate for those aged 15 to 29 fell to 44 percent, marking a decrease of 1.1 percentage points from the previous year.
