KSrelief Clinics Provide Services to 2,613 Syrian Refugees in Jordan’s Zaatari Camp

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided medical services to 2,613 patients in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the third week of August.

The general medicine clinics examined and dispensed medications to 655 patients during the week, while the internal clinic received 116 patients and the pediatric clinic attended to 287 children. The emergency department received 237 patients, 219 women visited the gynecology clinic, and the dental clinic attended to 129 patients.

The ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 52 patients suffering from sinus, pharynx, tonsil, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic attended to 51 patients, and the cardiology clinic saw 27 patients.

A total of 846 laboratory tests were conducted on 330 patients, while 112 X-rays were performed on 75 patients. The vaccination clinic administered 145 doses to 50 patients, and medications for chronic diseases were provided to 221 patients.

During the week, the health education department p
rovided guidance to 149 beneficiaries, and the pharmacy handled 1,730 prescriptions.
