KSrelief Concludes Volunteer Training Program in Mauritania

Nouakchott, In cooperation with Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded yesterday the 10-day Volunteer Training Program in Mauritania.

The program included training courses with the aim of building the capacities of the Mauritanian Red Crescent and Civil Defense, benefiting more than 300 volunteers, including introducing traffic accident injuries, evacuating the injured, fighting fires, emergency evacuation of public facilities, and assessing safety and risks in public facilities.

In cooperation with the Muslim World League, KSrelief also concluded yesterday its voluntary medical campaign for urology for adults in Mauritania. During the campaign, the volunteer medical team performed 83 specialized urological surgeries, all of which were successful.

This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to develop the skills of individuals working in humanitarian organizations around the world, and to provide treatment for patients from families with low incomes.
