KSrelief Delivers Medical Aid Offered by Saudi Arabia to Uruguay to Curb Spread of COVID-19 Pandemic

Montevideo, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) on Monday delivered medical and preventive assistance to Uruguay to help it face the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On behalf of KSrelief, Saudi Ambassador to Uruguay Eyad bin Ghazi Hakim handed over the assistance in the presence of Uruguayan Minister of Public Health Daniel Salinas.

During a press conference that was held on the occasion, Hakim noted that this assistance is an extension of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in helping brotherly and friendly countries to face the pandemic, in implementation of directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, praising the good relations between the two countries.

For his part, Salinas expressed appreciation of and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people for this noble position, stressing that Uruguay has benefited greatly from Saudi assistance in fighting the pandemic.
