KSrelief Performs 420 Eye Surgeries in Burundi

Bujumbura, The volunteer medical team of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has concluded its medical campaign to combat blindness and its causes in Bujumbura, Burundi.

During the period from 20 to 26 October 2021, the team examined 4,562 patients, performed 420 cataract surgeries, and distributed 572 glasses.

This campaign falls within the projects to combat blindness being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, for families with low incomes in a number of countries.
