KSrelief Signs Agreement to Drill 21 Solar-Powered Wells in Nigeria

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed yesterday a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to implement a project to drill 21 medium-depth solar-powered wells in Nigeria. The targeted regions include Abuja, Enugu, Kano, Osun, Oyo, and Kaduna. The agreement was signed in Riyadh by the Assistant Supervisor General of the Center for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz. The KSrelief Director of Health and Environmental Aid Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Moallem explained that the project aims to provide potable water for humans and livestock, reduce deaths due to the consumption of polluted water, and address the significant water deficit in the targeted areas. The project is expected to directly benefit 105,000 individuals. This initiative is part of a broader series of humanitarian and relief projects by KSrelief in the water and environmental sanitation sector. These projects aim to improve the quality of life, provide sustainable environmental solutio ns, and reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics in needy countries worldwide.
