KSrelief’s Masam Project Dismantles 1,030 Mines within a Week in Yemen

Aden, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the second week of September 2022, a total of 1,030 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 26 anti-personnel mines, 123 anti-tank mines, 880 unexploded ordnance and one explosive device.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 357,788 mines have been dismantled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
