KSrelief’s Masam Project Dismantles 1,339 Mines within a Week in Yemen

Aden, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the third week of May 2022, a total of 1,339 mines planted by the Houthi militia across Yemen, including 65 anti-personnel mines, 577 anti-tank mines, 692 unexploded ordnance and five explosive devices.

Since the beginning of the project, as many as 339,431 mines have been dismantled.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury of innocent children, women, and the elderly.
