Kuwait Amir’s Rep. receives Lebanese PM

Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati late Thursday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 79th session in New York. The two sides discussed topics of mutual interest, as well as the recent regional and international developments. His Highness condemned the Israeli occupation attacks and air raids on Lebanon, underlining the need to de-escalate tension in the region. The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs at His Highness the Crown Prine Mazen Al-Isa and Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Tareq Al-Banai.
