Dubai: H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), visited the 2025 edition of World Art Dubai, the region’s largest affordable retail art fair, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikha Latifa explored a diverse selection of contemporary artworks exhibited by over 400 local and international contributors. This included more than 160 solo artists and 120 galleries representing 65 countries, showcasing over 10,000 art pieces.
During her visit, H.H. Sheikha Latifa engaged with various artists and exhibitors, listening to their stories and discussing their creative processes. She expressed her gratitude for the passion and diversity that characterized the event.
Sheikha Latifa stressed the importance of platforms that promote artistic dialogue and cultural exchange, reinforcing Dubai’s status as an inclusive and dynamic arts hub. She highlighted that Dubai’s ongoing investment in the creative economy signifies the city’s belief in the power of culture to inspire, connect, and uplift communities.
Now in its 11th edition, World Art Dubai continues to significantly influence the region’s cultural landscape by providing a platform for both emerging and established artists to present their work within a vibrant, community-driven environment.
