Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh said Saturday he asked authorities at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport to block an Iranian aircraft from entering Lebanon's airspace, according to the Lebanese National News Agency. The move is in line with Lebanon's keenness to ensure national security and safety and in compliance with procedures in such situations, which reflects the Lebanese government's commitment to protecting the country's airspace and implementing civil aviation laws, he said.
