Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud carried out the honorary ceremonial washing of the Holy Kaaba on Sunday on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA), revealed that the Kaaba was washed from the inside using a mixture of Zamzam water and rose water by wiping its walls with a wet cloth. Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, Head of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, and Secretary General of the Muslim World League Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, also participated in the ceremonial washing.
