Dubai: American Hospital Dubai, a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, and Mayo Clinic have announced an enhanced collaboration to advance healthcare delivery, medical education, and research in Dubai and the region. The announcement was made at Arab Health 2025, held in Dubai at the World Trade Centre.
According to Emirates News Agency, the strengthened relationship between American Hospital Dubai and Mayo Clinic highlights their shared vision to transform patient care, promote innovation, and reinforce Dubai's position as a global leader in healthcare. The collaboration will focus on optimising clinical practices and improving operational efficiencies at American Hospital Dubai. It will also integrate technology to elevate the quality of care.
A significant aspect of this collaboration is the establishment of Dubai's first Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) medical school. This initiative, guided by the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, aims to nurture healthcare leaders and set benchmarks in regional medical education. The medical school's curriculum will align with global practices and feature modern facilities, faculty development programmes, and immersive learning experiences.
