MBZUH, Ewaa partner to raise awareness on importance of social wellbeing


ABU DHABI: Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) and the Abu Dhabi Centre for Sheltering and Humanitarian Care (Ewaa) have signed an agreement to advance cooperation in social wellbeing across Abu Dhabi.

The agreement calls on both parties to exchange experiences, with the university potentially organising and presenting relevant lectures and thereby leveraging its academic expertise as its contribution to the cooperation.

In addition, both parties agreed to organise training workshops and other areas of humanitarian care for victims and residents of the centre. The parties will also discuss collaborative initiatives, such as establishing cultural and scientific activities and community service projects, launching awareness initiatives on relevant social issues, and participating in events, programmes, activities and international days in this regard.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities; and Sarah Ibrahim Shuhai
l, Director-General of Ewaa.

Also included in the terms of agreement that both parties will explore are studies, research projects and articles to be published in their respective publications. Employees from both sides will also participate in practical training sessions in addition to vocational training and summer work opportunities being provided for university students according to the fields available to Ewaa.
